Tamás Stark, senior research fellow of the Institute of History RCH HAS were lecturing in the USA in 2014.

In Feburary, he had a university lecture titled The Fate of the Hungarian Jewish Community during the Holocaust and after Liberation at the University of Tennessee, Chattanooga, Tennesse.

In March he took part in the international conference The Holocaust in Hungary, 70 Years On: New Perspectives, organized by the Center for Judaic, Holocaust, and Genocide Studies, Florida Gulf Coast University. The program of the conference can be read here.

Tamás Stark had a lecture titled The „Ostjuden” Question in Hungary during World War I and the Interwar Period: How Galician Jewish Refugees became Hungary's „Number One Enemies”.

In April he gave a lecture in Pittsburgh, at the Duquesne University, with the title National Revolutions in Eastern Europe Since World War I, and the Current Russian–Ukrainian Conflict. He talked about his research on Hungarian deportee forced labourers in the Soviet Union after WW II also in Pittsburgh. He had a lecture titled The Hungarian Holocaust in Historical Memory at Nazareth College, Rochester, New York, and a memorial speech titled The Holocaust in Europe, Comperative Perspective at the Holocaust Memorial Day.
