PROJECTS

2005-2018: Postwar Periods in Europe was a research project of the European Network for Contemporary History (EurhistXX) that compared the ways European societies tackled the legacies of war in 1918, 1945 and 1989.

2010-2012: EUNAMUS – National Museums in Europe was a European Union Framework Program 7 project that mapped the development of national museums in Europe and their role in contemporary culture and society.

2015-2018: Post-WWII Anti-Semitic Pogroms in East and East Central Europe: Collective Violence and Popular Culture was a Gerda Henkel Stiftung funded international research project.

2015-2018: Socialism Goes Global, funded by the Arts and Humanities Research Council (UK) and the NKFIH (Hungarian national grant agency) explored how Central and Eastern European socialist states tackled decolonization and developed relationships with the Global South.

2016-2019 Courage: Understanding the Heritage of Dissent in the Former Socialist Countries was an international research project funded by the European Union Horizon 2020 program that reassessed the legacies of cultural opposition in the former socialist countries of Central and Eastern Europe.
