The series of documents are informative about the developments of the Ottoman–Habsburg relationship, as well as of current events in global politics, including the developments in the Hungarian border zone, the wars in the Mediterranean, the changes in the lands of the Ottoman tributaries, Polish royal elections, the military actions at the Iraqi and Persian front, and so on. Apart from the series of reports on political events, several further documents shed light upon the functioning of the Habsburg embassy at the Ottoman capital.
