A Szepesiné Simon Éva főlevéltáros (Magyar Nemzeti Levéltár Országos Levéltára) vezette OTKA-kutatócsoport (Exploration of cadastral surveys – tapu defters – of the Ottoman Hungary and the periphery of the occupied region) első eredményeit tárta a nyilvánosság elé a 2017. november .20. és 24. között Isztambulban megrendezett 2nd International Archive Congress on Ottoman Lands című konferencián. Intézetünket Demeter Gábor tudományos munkatárs képviselte Szepesiné Simon Évával közösen tartott Some Spatial and Temporal Aspects of Ottoman Accommodation in the Hungarian Kingdom – The Possibilities of Visualization in GIS című előadásával.
